Miranda
Practice Manager
Since childhood, you could usually find Miranda where the animals are – be that playing in the yard with the family dog or exploring the shores of southern Florida in search of horseshoe crabs and anoles.
From elementary through high school, she volunteered with different local animal shelters and participated in equestrian care and training. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University in 2015 and is pursuing another degree that will bring her closer to her goal of CVT.
In 2016 she moved to Colorado with her partner Aaron and an ever-expanding family of critters. Miranda transitioned from social services to the veterinary field in 2018 and joined the esteemed North Powers Animal Hospital patient care team in 2020. In her personal time, she enjoys practicing foreign languages, yoga, and video games.
After completing her undergraduate degree at Mississippi State, Miranda earned credentials as a registered veterinary technician (RVT) in Colorado. Soon after she was elected to the Colorado Association for Certified Veterinary Technicians (CACVT) Board of Directors, where she advocates for veterinary professionals across the state.
